With so many upcoming Christian music concerts and events and an amazing line-up of artists, let’s see how well you actually know some of them!
Micah Tyler brings energy and joy to the stage along with his chart topping songs and stories. He hasn’t always been onstage, though. Micah used to drive a sausage delivery truck, but got his musical break when he was set to open a show for Phil Wickham, but Phil couldn’t make it in time. Micah ended up playing the entire show and did so well that he was asked to continue opening for Phil for the remainder of the tour!
Micah Tyler will be headlining a concert at the Mitchell Corn Palace Festival on Friday, August 22nd.
Anne Wilson wanted to be an astronaut, but she felt God calling her to music after her older brother died in a car accident. Although she wrote over 130 songs for her first album, only 15 made the cut (My Jesus, 2022). Anne will be onstage at LifeLight Festival, August 31st in Sioux Falls.
Tenth Avenue North is a different kind of a name for a band. It turns out, it’s the street they lived on when the band started! From West Palm Beach, Florida, the band had a farewell tour in 2020, but then realized they didn’t want to stop playing, so ended up doing another tour in 2024. See Tenth Avenue North at LifeLight Festival on August 31st in Sioux Falls.
Cade Thompson is familiar to most people in the Sioux Empire as he actually grew up in Sioux Falls. He is recently engaged and now lives in Franklin, Tennessee. Cade will perform at LifeLight Festival in Sioux Falls.
We The Kingdom is pretty much family–all the band members are related in one way or another! Ed, the oldest, is father to Franni and Martin. His career started helping other artists like Chris Tomlin and Crowder write and produce songs. Apparently, We The Kingdom wrote their first song in a hot tub. That’s all we know about that.
We The Kingdom will be at LifeLight Festival on August 31st.
Ben Fuller grew up on a Vermont dairy farm. He got addicted to drugs early in life, but when his best friend died from a drug overdose, Ben began to reevaluate his life. That led him to Nashville where friends invited him to church and he met Jesus.
See Ben Fuller at LifeLight on August 31st.
