An afternoon focused on encouraging and equipping teachers and helpers to lead Good News Clubs this school year. We will be specifically using the Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) curriculum which is used in our Good News Clubs at the public elementary schools, as well as in Sunday School at churches. We will also teach on classroom strategies, snack ideas, and holiday options as well as share teaching tips and sing songs, because we all know kids love songs! New leader training starts at 2pm and all volunteers come at 3pm. Training ends at 5pm.
Good News Clubs are exciting, fun-filled weekly clubs hosted in public elementary schools after school October through April for elementary kids in which the Bible is clearly taught with songs, stories, games. These fast-paced, one-hour Clubs are designed to bring the Gospel of Christ to children and their friends on their level in their environment.
