The Mary Chilton Chapter, DAR invites everyone with their families and friends to join them as they commemorate their 110th Anniversary of serving Sioux Falls. A Celebration of Music, Food & Fun will be held in Terrace Park West on Thursday, July 17 from 4:30 – 8pm.
Admission is FREE and open to the public.
It begins with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony by the Chamber of Commerce at 4:30 and continues with professional face painting, a balloon artist, bubble machine and other activities. The Great Plains Zoo Mobile will be on hand from 5-6 pm and the Sioux Falls Municipal Band will perform a concert beginning at 6:30. Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic or food may be purchased from Backyard BBQ and SDSU Ice Cream Food Trucks. Please bring blankets or lawn chairs and outdoor games if desired.
This free family activity is our way of saying “Thank You” to the people in our community as we look forward to continuing our service to you – and prepare for America’s 250 next year!
